RSL Light Diagnostic
Light What it means How to fix it (if applicable)
Solid On Robot on and disabled N/A
Blinking Robot on and enabled N/A
Solid Off Robot off, roboRIO not powered, RSL not wired properly N/A

Power Distribution Panel (PDP)

PDP.png
PDP Light Diagnostic
Light What it means How to fix it (if applicable)
Green Strobe No fault, robot enabled N/A
Green Slow No fault, robot disabled N/A
Orange Slow Sticky Fault Use a browser to get to the roboRIO at the address
   roboRIO-2375.local

You will see the PCM listed on the left. Click on it.

There will be instructions on the page, but basically triple-click the Self-Test button at the top of the page as fast as you can to clear the sticky fault.

Red Slow No CAN communication Check CAN wires and terminals.
Red/Orange Damaged hardware Look for metal shavings, if non are found then replace unit.
Green/Orange In boot loader N/A
Off No power Power on

Light Color What it means How to fix it (if applicable) Light Color What it means How to fix it (if applicable)
Power Off Power is outside valid input range Power on Comms Comms 1 fix 1
Solid Green Power is valid with no fault N/A Comms 2 fix 2
Solid Red Fault condition detected. One or more user voltage rails are in short-circuit or overcurrent condition Check for metal shavings and vacuum. Comms 3 fix 3
Flashing Red Input voltage is too high (> 16V). All outputs, including RSL output, are disabled Check connection to PDP, Check power connection. Comms 4 fix 4
Solid Yellow Brownout conditions detected 6V user rail and outputs are disabled Check driver station power logs, Brownouts are caused by too much power draw!! Comms 5 fix 5
RSL light RSL 1 fix 1 Mode Mode 1 fix 1
light RSL 2 fix 2 Mode 2 fix 2
light RSL 3 fix 3 Mode 3 fix 3
Radio light radio 1 fix 1 Mode 4 fix 4
light radio 2 fix 2 Status Status 1 fix 1
light radio 3 fix 3 Status 2 fix 2
light radio 4 fix 4 Status 3 fix 3
light radio 5 fix 5 Status 4 fix 4
light radio 6 fix 6

The page on the old internal site has no real light descriptions. All it says is "LED's for: POWER, STATUS, RADIO, COMM, MODE, RSL mirror RSL". Some help from elex?
