This is the hidden lore of Carlmont Robotics(inspired by NPon).

I created it here because it seems that I am not allowed to put it elsewhere.

Programming = Airbending (Abstractness) CAD = Firebending (Don't mess with CAD Lord Eric) Fabrication = Earthbending (Building Stuff from Pieces of the Earth) Electronics = Waterbending (Currents)

Electronics. Fabrication. CAD. Programming. Long ago, the four factions lived together in harmony. Then, everything changed when the CAD faction attacked. Only the Avatar, master of all four elements, could stop them, but when robotics needed him most, he vanished. A hundred years passed and David Talcott and I discovered the new Avatar, a programmer named Sammy. And although his programming skills are great, he has a lot to learn before he's ready to save anyone. But I believe Sammy can save robotics.

Sammy was a male programmer born in 2000 CE and the Avatar during the century-long conflict known as the First Robotics Competition. His immediate predecessor was Avatar Zuckerberg, and his immediate successor is Avatar Korra. As the Avatar of his time, he was the only person capable of using all four robotics arts: programming, CAD, fabrication, and electronics. He was also one of a select few Avatars, and one of the first in many cycles to learn the ancient art of mathematics, and the first Avatar known to have actively used the technique. Shortly before the beginning of the First Robotics Competition, Sammy was frozen in an aluminum sphere for a hundred years; he later emerged, still biologically twelve years old, into a world engulfed by robotics competitions. During his absence, the CAD faction had waged war upon the other factions and managed to completely wipe out the pacifistic programmers. It fell to Sammy, the last programmer and the Avatar, to end the competition by mastering the other three elements and defeating CAD Lord Eric. He remained a kind and goofy kid at heart throughout his year-long struggle, despite the overwhelming loss of his people and the heavy burdens he was forced to bear.

History

Early Life

Sammy was born to two programmers in 2000 CE. After selecting the Avatar relics from among thousands of toys, thereby inadvertently confirming his identity as the Avatar, he was taken away by the programmers of Carlmont, who kept his position a secret from him. As a programmer, Sammy traveled extensively around the school. During his childhood, Sammy was housed, raised, and educated at Carlmont, under the guardianship of Programmer Stoyan, who served as his father figure, counselor, and tutor. As a child, Sammy was a member of the Programming Team, where he learned essential skills such as how to use Git in the Command Prompt on the school computers. When Sammy turned six years old, he and several other young programmer boys were taken to the Programming Table where they each chose a school laptop as their lifelong companion. Sammy approached his soon-to-be laptop Appa and offered him an apple VMWare, which Appa accepted, thus marking the start of their deep and lifelong friendship. Sammy was always able to excel at any new programming languages he learned; at the age of six, he was a better programmer than children twice his age, and by the age of ten, Sammy had proven himself to be better than his own teachers. For exhibiting prodigious talent with his native element, programming, he earned his programming stickers and the status of an programming master at the age of twelve, making him the youngest programming master in Programming Team history until 2080, when his granddaughter, Jinora, received her stickers at the age of eleven.

In his childhood, Sammy also visited the other programming teams, as evidenced by his obvious familiarity with the Gunn Programming Team, as well as cities in the Fabrication Faction, such as the workshop, where he developed a lasting friendship with the good-natured but eccentric Nathaniel. He even bonded closely with children in the CAD faction, with whom he went searching for an icosahedron in the solid works and saved an icosahedron sketch from poachers.

Due to the signs of a possible competition approaching, Sammy was told about his status as the Avatar at age twelve, four years earlier than the traditional age of sixteen. Sammy felt burdened by his status as the other children refused to play with him anymore and he came to spend more time practicing programming with the programmers. Programmer Stoyan was the only one who showed understanding of Sammy's burden, having been good friends with Avatar Zuckerberg, Sammy's past life, and tried to help ease Sammy through the transition from childhood to adulthood by providing Sammy with balance through fun during the upheaval in his life. However, Sammy later discovered that he would be sent to the Other Programming Table in order to complete his programming training far away from Programmer Stoyan, whom the other programmers thought was too soft on him. Afraid and confused, the young programmer ran away with his school laptop, Appa, though they became caught in a tangle of wires shortly after, which caused them to crash into the floor. Sammy saved himself and Appa from hitting the ground by semi-consciously entering the Avatar State and freezing them both in a sphere of aluminum through a combination of CAD and fabrication. The Avatar State kept him alive, albeit not fully conscious, in the aluminum sphere for about a hundred years while the competition raged on.

Winter 2016 CE

One hundred years later, Sammy was found and freed from the aluminum sphere by siblings Katara and Sokka of the Electronics Faction. He quickly befriended them and almost immediately attracted the attention of Prince Peter, who was to capture him by order of his father, CAD Lord Eric. A newly formed Team Avatar set out to find an electronics master who could teach Katara and Sammy, evading Peter's attempts to capture them on their journey to the electronics board. While helping rid Fabrication Table 1 of wood shavings, a spirit that was destroying their village, Sammy crossed over to the Spirit World where he met Facebook, the social network guide of his predecessor, Avatar Zuckerberg. He was instructed to visit an Avatar Temple in Crescent Island during the winter solstice so he could talk with Avatar Zuckerberg. Despite a run-in with most of the CAD Wizards, a group whose loyalty had reallocated to the CAD Lord, Sammy managed to speak with Zuckerberg, who warned him about the impending arrival of SolidWorks's Update, which would grant the CAD faction enough power to win the War.
